These are the steps to clean your BBQ grill easily and fast without the hassle. This is a time-consuming job, but I teach you a better way to clean your BBQ grill. Let me save you the headache by telling you not to hose down your grill, you do not have to do that because you will create a bigger mess with the grease crumbs going everywhere. I simply put a trash bag underneath the BBQ grill and scrape all the grease into the grease trap. I vacuum as much grease crumbs as much as possible. I use a cardboard box as my scraper tool, or a 3-inch chisel tool, a pizza dough scraper will work just as well. You can also use a bottle cap from a water bottle for detailing along with some tin foil. Later in the video I use a lemon and salt and wipe down the grill with it to help soften the grease and also spray coconut oil. The lemon and coconut oil is the best cleaning hack. After spraying the coconut oil on the grill with the heat on for 5 minutes, turn off and let cool for 15 minutes and get more grease off with the tin foil. You don't have to clean the light coat of grease at the bottom of the fire box grill, it is so light that when you're all done, you're going to turn your grill on high for 30 minutes, and the heat will burn the film of grease into ash and self-clean. For that reason, no need to put all that elbow strength into wiping all that gunk, only as much as the grease crumbs you can. By cleaning your grill, you will prevent a grease fire.
