Short trip to Salta, Argentina in August 2023 including Yala Provincial Park, Calilegua National Park and around Salta. Primary goal was to see Rufous-throated Dipper, but many good birds were seen.

In order of appearance: Rufous-throated Dipper, Brown-capped Redstart, Torrent Duck, Red-faced Guan, Common Chlorospingus, Cream-winged Cinclodes, Cream-backed Woodpecker, Buff-browed Foliage-gleaner, Fulvous-headed Brushfinch, Golden-billed Saltator, Stripe-crowned Spinetail, Andean Lapwing, Smoke-colored Pewee, Golden-winged Cacique, Gray-hooded Parakeet, Rufous-bellied Thrush, Yungas Guan, Chiguanco Thrush, White-winged Coot, Red-fronted Coot, Slate-colored Coot, Rusty-browed Warbling Finch, Fawn-breasted Tanager, Two-banded Warbler, Dot-fronted Woodpecker, Azara's Spinetail, Tropical Parula, Green-cheeked Parakeet, Streaked Xenops, Great Rufous Woodcreeper, Crested Caracara, Purple-throated Euphonia, Black-capped Warbling Finch, White-crested Tyrranulet, Scaly-headed Parrot, Black-backed Grosbeak, Puna Ibis, Yellowish Pipit, Rufous-capped Antshrike, Plush-crested Jay, White-barred Piculet, Black-and-chestnut Warbling Finch, Moss-backed Sparrow, Giant Antshrike, Wattled Jacana, Lake Duck, White-tipped Plantcutter, Coscoroba Swan, and a Cavy (mammal).
