Niš, Serbia - Located in the South of Serbia, I never planned on finding such a delightful city in this part of the world. The historic fortress dominates the city while the friendly locals make it such a pleasant experience to visit. More than anything, the history of Niš makes it an incredible destination for anyone fascinated in European history. From an Ottoman skull tower to a series of ruins located within the fort, Niš truly provides visitors with a wealth of historical places to choose from.
