On 25 May 1967, Celtic Football Club defeated Inter Milan 2-1 at the Estádio de Honra (Estádio Nacional) in Lisbon to become the first British football team to lift the European Cup.

I visited the exact site at which Billy McNeill lifted football's biggest prize. There's a plaque at the stadium to this day to commemorate the Lisbon Lions who were lead by Jock Stein and had stars like Stevie Chalmers, Bertie Auld & Jimmy Jinky Johnstone.

Celtic fans... you HAVE to visit this place one day if you haven't already!
