In this video I am showing a quick and easy DIY staircase refurbishment that requires barely any tools, takes not much time yet visual results are rather significant. It creates a very warm and cosy atmosphere, especially in the evening when the sun goes down.
To emphasise the staircase as a feature upon entering the house, I have also installed an LED strip, which is connected to an automated Wi-Fi controller. This type of Wi-Fi controller connects to an app thus can be controlled via your mobile phone and has many features, including automated switching on upon dusk - exactly what I needed.
