In this video I visit Mullaghmore in Ireland. The site of the assassination of Lord Louis Mountbatten at the hands of the IRA. This scene is made famous in the TV series The Crown and in the lead up to the Coronation of King Charles III I thought I'd cover an event that left the Royal Family in a state of shock.

Lord Mountbatten was described by Charles as 'the grandfather I never had'.
