Hubbub Enterprise is now a certified B-Corp

We're super excited to announce that the enterprise arm of Hubbub is now a B-Corp! Find out more about how we got there https://www.hubbub.org.uk/Blog/how-hu...

We cast a vote everyday with the choice we make, like what we wear, what we eat and where we shop. As the world wakes up to climate change how can we make sure that we are making sustainable choices and supporting business that balance purpose and profit?

It's no easy task but the B-Corp have entered into the ring with a rigorous certification for companies who want to use their power for good. Loads of brands you know are registered B-Corps like Ben & Jerry’s, Patagonia, Innocent and Able & Cole. But what does it mean to be a company who works for good and how can we hold businesses accountable?

A B-Corp is defined (on their website) as: a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.

This week we find out why B-Corps are taking industries by storm and if they are one of the answers to working towards a healthier planet.
