This session of Living Science is the introduction to cryo-electron microscopy and its applications by Dr Manidipa Banerjee, faculty at the Kusuma School of Biological Science, IIT Delhi. In this lecture Dr Banerjee also included evolution of microscopy; challenges and advantages of using electron microscopy in biology. Additionally she also discussed negative staining, reconstruction of three Dimensional structures from electron micrographs.
