//The project will start off as a 14 foot aluminum boat, the bow of the boat will be closed, much like a runabout style boat. The rear engine compartment will also be mostly enclosed with sound dampening material to reduce as much unwanted engine noise as possible, since the engine is likely to be air cooled, there will be a vent to pull in cold air from the outside. The engine compartment will also have a high velocity exhaust fan for extracting fuel vapor to prevent an explosion, this is a very important safety measure. The goal is to seat four people on two bench seats, the front seat will be covered by a full windshield, and there were also be proper lighting for night time boating. in terms of drivetrain, the goal is to use a Briggs and Stratton V-twin, a secondary choice is the famous predator 670 V-twin engine . the engine will be modified (if necessary) to reach approximately 45 to 50 horsepower, and it will be coupled to a surface drive system for propulsion. Additional electronics include an automatic bilge pump, auxiliary water pump for a wet exhaust system, a "captains choice exhaust" may also be installed which allows the user to have either a quiet, peaceful exhaust, or a loud race-like exhaust. The boat will have a full dashboard, which will include oil pressure, fuel level, battery level, RPM, and speed. The goal Max speed of this boat is 35 to 45 miles an hour.//
