How do I put this in to words?
I know you're gone but it still hurts
Like it was yesterday

My life has never been the same
Since the day you left this world
I'm still missing' you
Everyone says it will get easier
I don't believe them
But I have to go on
I'm trying to be strong

The time we had was just too short
What I wouldn't give to hold your hand
See you smile or hear your voice
Everyone says it will get easier
Can I believe them
When it's hard to go on?
Why do I have to be strong?
I've been so numb inside
I can barely breathe
I need a quiet place
Where I can feel
I have your picture in my hands
Tracing the lines of your sweet face
I feel a smile break through
Thinking of you, it fills my heart
Even though it breaks apart
I feel peace in remembering you
Some days are just a little easier
When I feel joy and pain
At the same time
I'm so glad that you were mine
I'm so glad that you are mine
How do I put this in to words?
Living a life without you hurts
