My first ever Rail Tour. Normally I'm track-side photographing these things go past, but on this occasion decided to splash out, and buy a ticket to go on one!
This was a trip up the freight line to Cwmbargoed , but also included various loops and sidings around South Wales which I had no idea that the train was doing until the day! So it turned out to be a very long day, however I was able to escape the train at Ninian Park, Cardiff on the return. Meaning that I was able to get home, and on the wine, a good hour and a half or so earlier!
I don't do video normally as will be quite evident whilst watching this, and I was suffering from bad Hat Hair, having been wearing a tight woolly hat whilst standing around on various platforms, but hey-ho here it is.....
