Paul Bacon builds imaginative cars that can also be driven. He has always been annoyed by the fact that car manufacturers only show their most spectacular prototypes at trade fairs, but never actually produce them. That's why he started building exciting cars himself, at home. For example, the "Cosmotron," is a futuristic vehicle sprung from his childhood imagination. It's a completely new design, that's somewhere between a science fiction novel and a comic-book. The cars are built in his garden shed. He made the radiator grille out of bottle caps and uses firework parts, shower fittings, and salt shakers in the engine. After the "Cosmotron," came the "Automatron," a cross between Cinderella's carriage and a racing car. His vehicles allow people to escape from grey everyday life into a colorful world of fantasy.
