Chandralekha : Bharatanatyam and Beyond
A conversation with renowned Bharatanatyam artist and teacher Sujatha Ramalingam was organized by Indian Classical Dancersa Association (ICDA) and hosted by Sourami Mukherjee.
Sujatha Ramalingam, is a post graduate in Bharathanatyam from Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai  and continued her training under the guidance of Late Padmashri Adyar K Lakshman & Padma Bhushan CV Chandrasekhar.  She has been the lead dancer in various dance productions of the legendary Late Shrimati Chandralekha Prabhudas Patel with whom she travelled within the country & abroad. She has also undergone training in Kuchipudi from Art Academy, Kuchipudi and has performed in various prestigious occassions as well. Shrimathi Sujatha Ramalingam runs her own dance institution, Kalashrishti since 1998 which aims at fostering the dance skills of talented dancers & educating the young generations about the rich cultural heritage of Indian classical dance.
