Some amazing children come to public attention after their stories go viral online. American boy Jaxon Buell’s unusual condition, which means he has a half-flat skull, caught the imagination of the world when his Christmas photo on Facebook went viral. And Tsung Tsung’s amazing musical talent garnered him many fans after his piano playing videos were uploaded to the Internet.

Other unusual children make the headlines after TV documentaries are made about their shocking conditions. Deepak Kumar Paswan underwent four hours of surgery to remove a parasitic conjoined twin from his body. The surgery was filmed for viewers to watch and learn about his incredible life. Mohammad Kaleem also allowed cameras to film his operation, which helped reduced the size of his gigantic hands. He is just one incredible child who earned a nickname for his out-of-the-ordinary appearance.

Didier Montavlo was also given a nickname for his extraordinary looks. The “turtle boy” had a growth on his back that looked like a shell, and was eventually operated on. He went on to help fellow sufferers, as do many of these inspirational young people. Akrit Jaswal also helps others with his astonishing skill at surgery from a shockingly young age. At just seven he was operating on a burns victim.

Other kids with talents that will make your jaw drop include Priyanshi Somani. This mental calculator is in the Guinness Book of World Records thanks to her mathematics skills. Then there are the abilities that can’t be assessed in competitions, like telepathy. Nandana Unnikrishnan’s telepathic talent shocked her parents, and shocked the world when it was publicized.
