We're still at the corner of Newport Avenue and Beach 116th Street in Rockaway Park, where we see two more buses as they roll towards Jacob Riis Park. The first bus is GM New Look "Fishbowl" 8466 with what are known as "bat wings" due to the presence of two large advertising boards on the sides. I am unsure of what year this bus was built. The other bus we see is 1956 GM Old Look 3100, the first bus in NYC to have had air conditioning, as evidenced by the enormous fan protrusions on the rear of the bus. We will see one other bus at this location. At the end, some jackass driver decides to honk his horn, and my friend Mike has to yell extremely loud in the vicinity of my camera. Thanks, Mike.
