In this first episode of a brand new build, Chris and Crickett take on the challenge of swapping a B58 into Adam LZ’s E46 M3, making it one of the first in the U.S. to receive this engine. While the B58 swap isn’t exactly common, we’re using a Link ECU to help manage the complexities of the direct injection system and document the process as we go. We’ve already developed the motor mounts, so now it’s time to pop the engine in and make it work. Stay tuned as we figure out the details and show you how it’s done, step by step.
