http://www.rolfssalon.com - Krista Hom has been living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) most of her life and is fighting for a cure! RA has been in her family for generations. Her story is one of inspiration and survival as she suffered a brainstem stroke at the young age of 23 that left her paralyzed on the left side of her body unable to walk, see clearly or even swallow. Doctors didn't think she would even make it through the night. It was through hard work, significant physical therapy and determination that Krista was able to walk (without a walker or a cane) just six months after the incident. She has since discovered strength in Tai Chi and inspires others on a daily basis as a certified Tai Chi instructor. It is her remarkable story and commitment to finding a cure that led the Arthritis Foundation - Arizona to select Krista as the Oscar Experience: Phoenix Adult Honoree.

Rolf was honored to give Krista a special makeover to prepare for the glamorous event. We darkened her hair and shaped up her cut to give her a chic and Hollywood-inspired look. The next day, Rolf stopped by ABC15's Sonoran Living to show off Krista's makeover and provide hair tips and tricks.
