This is a 1985 Belarusian film directed by Elem Klímov and starring Alekséi Krávchenko, who plays Fliora, and Olga Mirónova, who gives life to Glasha.

This film portrays the brutality of the German occupation in Belarus during World War II. It is shown in a barbaric way, both visually and explicitly, as well as in a more psychological and implicit way.
