My DWX Compact has been fully customized by United Firearms with their Traditional In-Line Ports and a direct milled optics cut, topped off with some of the amazing Solid Copper Kraken Palm Swell Grips in the gorgeous Shipwreck patina from Vytal Manufacturing. In this video I review the original DWX Compact by Dan Wesson and CZ, the quality and performance of the barrel porting and optic cut by United Firearms, and the Copper Kraken Vytal Grips.

CZs and 2011s are my favorite handguns to shoot, so when Dan Wesson and CZ announced their collaboration on the DWX combining the best parts of the CZ Shadow platform and the 2011 platform, I was all in. I do think they made a few design missteps in this original iteration, which I talk about in the video. Towards the end of the video, I also compare the DWX Compact vs the CZ Shadow 2 Compact to see which one is the best.
