Member of the Gitxsan First Nation, Cindy Blackstock is First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada Executive Director and professor at McGill University's School of Social Work.

In her CAEH19 keynote address, Cindy talks about the many ways her organization has shared on how to improve the life and dignity of First Nation kids in Canada.

She has over 30 years of experience in working with child welfare and Indigenous children's rights and has published over 75 articles on topics relating to reconciliation, Indigenous theory, First Nations child welfare and human rights.
