The enemy wants to weigh you down by the circumstances of life and take away your hope, but by choosing to focus on God, you can actually use adversity to your advantage. Psalm 23 reveals the beautiful promise that the Lord prepares a table for you in the midst of your enemies; in the middle of whatever situation you are facing, the Lord has prepared a feast for you. Don’t be so consumed by your problem that you miss the intimacy, hope, and wonder that the Lord has for you. Just as an eagle can use adverse winds to glide and rise higher, the Lord plans to use what the enemy meant for evil and bring you into a place of peace and strength in Him.
