Hello everyone, MT here with the usual trainspotting action! During my holiday in Switzerland, I went on one of the most popular and scenic rail journeys on the planet, the Bernina Express from Tirano, Italy to Saint Moritz, Switzerland. Inside the train has got comfortable seats with panoramic views from its curved windows along with ones that open on its doors. The journey began steadily going out of Tirano as it first winds up the Brusio Spiral viaduct (Kreisviadukt von Brusio) and along the Valposchiavo. All this before it began the big climb up with breath-taking views on both sides of the train, when it then made a brief stop at Alp Grum to allow it step off the train and take photos. Once back on, it continued the incline till it reached the highest point Ospizia Bernina where normally the mountains will be in view but on this case, it was covered entirely by the low clouds, so not much to look at. After that, it began the climb down and eventually arrived into Saint Moritz. Please note, the journey was over two hours but this film does not cover the entire, only the key moments in it.
