The top 12 riders were faster at Assen on Sunday, building on their success in Mujjello, where the top 15 riders beat the 2023 MotoGP race-winning pace.
Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati, the winner of the 2023 and 2024 Dutch Grand Prix, finished the 26-lap event in 30.426 seconds less time than he did the previous year.
However, the rate of advancement across the field—which many credit to the updated Michelin rear tires—meant that Aprilia, KTM, and Yamaha also had a rider below Bagnaia's 40 minute 37.640 seconds victory time from the previous season.
