Climbing JEBEL EL KEST

 During my stay in Tafraout, I had the chance to climb the 2375m Jebel el Kest. 

Mhamed, a married 67 year old man, who grew up in the region, and who knows the paths of the mountain chain very well, was my companion.

It was around 9 o'clock in the morning when we left Mhamed's place, close to Omsnat village.

Our plan was not necessarily to reach the summit but to walk up the mountain as far as we could and enjoy the scenery from above.

 الأخ محمد كان رفيقي في المسار، وهو رجل متزوج يبلغ من العمر 67 عامًا ، نشأ في المنطقة ، ويعرف ممرات سلسلة الجبال جيدًا ،.

 كانت الساعة حوالي التاسعة صباحًا عندما غادرنا منزل محمد ، بالقرب من قرية أومسنات.

 لم تكن خطتنا بالضرورة هي الوصول إلى القمة ولكن الصعود إلى أعلى الجبل قدر الإمكان والاستمتاع بالمناظر من الأعلى كانت من اولوياتنا
