In this episode of BBR EXTRA I purchase a 1952 Emerson 6250-K desk fan and restore it to its former glory. This is the first small restoration project I've done and I am pleased with the results. I sanded the blades down to bare metal, stripped the paint and repainted it Krylon matte green (4 coats) and then clear coated it with gloss (2 coats). With some help from Jason, the fan was re-wired, cleaned, and put back together. After oiling the fan, it ran smoothly and pushes tons of air.
