This week we look at the propagation technique of direct sticking early fall shrub cuttings. We use this technique for black currants, red currants, gooseberries, aronia berries and willow. Try it and you will see how easy it is to get 10X the number of shrubs from one shrub and save thousands of $ when you seek to multiply a hundred shrubs or more. We also cover simple tools for the job.
NOTE: Some fruiting shrubs are sold with non propagation clauses. Those are not permitted to multiply as there is a royalty that is due to the breeder.
