In this video I build a very simple bench mounted router table for my 1/4" DeWalt router trimmer. I got the idea from one made by Steve Ramsey.

The table and fence are made from 18mm MDF and 38x63 CLS timber for the frame which is fixed together using pocket screws. I used some aluminium t-track with t-bolts for the fence to slide along.

I use a double flute straight router bit with a bearing at the top to cut out the square for the acrylic and the groves for the t-track. Some people call it a template or profiler bit. The bearing runs along and follows the MDF template I placed around the acrylic and T-Track which is then removed and and cuts a square/grove to the exact size. You need to set the bit to the same depth as the acrylic or T-Track
