Glyphosate is a systemic nonselective herbicide which is being in use for more than 40 years. Unintended use of glyphosate in citrus orchards causing serious issues eventually leading to citrus decline. This is mainly because of unavoidable drift and insufficient understanding of glyphosate. Dr G Syamasundar Reddy, an agricultural scientist working on citrus for more than 2 decades studied the ill effects of glyphosate on citrus in detail and explained them well.
