Grouper Season is open! We fished the Jeff Leiona Reel and Steel Classic and grouper was the target species. We entered the fishing and the free diving categories but the grouper were hard to come by for us. We lost a couple but finally in the afternoon Sara speared one to put us on the board! Our friend Nick also shot a nice mutton snapper and we cooked both some grouper and snapper for lunch!
