I have made a list of helpful things below. This list will be updated if I find out about any issues.

1) I forgot to mention you can download as many tiles as needed. Only 6 tiles are loaded at any one time so there's no limit on the size of the downloaded region nor on the number of regions. The only limit is the size of the SD card.

2) At about minute 16 in the video I say to move "0,1,2" while moving 0,-1,-2. I meant to say "0,-1,-2"
