A video of the construction of my Wood fired Oven door. In this video i use Aluminium as the veneer front face of the WFO. I use some aircraft aluminium rivets and hammered them over. I tried not to damage the aluminium face when hammering over the rivets. I made a metal frame for the door and my old door as the back of the door. The door itself is insulated by using left over insulation from the dome of the oven. I still have to make a flue damper and seal the door including a air entry shut of valve to control the flame. My whole purpose for creating this door was to retain heat over night for the following day so we could roast and bake more foods i hope you enjoy the build. subscribe to my channel for a lot more video content in the future Including the build of another oven.
