The build crew are an essential part of any larp and yet they are so often the unseen heroes of the day. These are the people who set the scene. Who put up decorations and dress the set. Who create unique props and looks for the event. The build are the makers whose work we'd all notice if it wasn't there, and yet on a successful game just blends in.

We took an opportunity to talk to some of the members of the Curious Pastimes build crew a day or so before the flagship game of 2024 started. We learned a lot about them. If you've never thought about the people behind the scenes before then perhaps this gives you some insight.
