Today on Drake Lawn Care, LB and I Came across this major eyesore that really needed our help. The grass was over 6 feet tall no exaggeration. We spoke with numerous neighbors to find out as much info as we possibly could. We were told that this home was put on the market for sale and quickly purchased afterwards, as a “fix and flip”.

After purchasing the home, the homeowner hired 2 members of the community to mow the lawn (and get it back in shape) only to stiff them on the payment and block their number after completing the job. From our encounters with the neighbors, we learned that several of them pulled together to keep the lawn maintained, but stopped once they saw the homeowner had no intention of ever maintaining their lawn. After multiple attempts to contact the property owner, and the city, the neighbors are now fed up and ready for a change.
