In this video, we cover what to do (and what NOT to do) if someone has a nosebleed. You'll learn how to protect yourself while helping someone with a nosebleed. If you are concerned about what to do, the patient is on anticoagulant drugs, or if the bleeding does not stop, call 911 and seek help from trained medical professionals.

Wayne State University School of Medicine students, in collaboration with Detroit Medical Center (DMC) emergency medicine physicians and in line with AHA guidelines, created the First Aid First video series to help broader populations learn about in-home health safety and response solutions that could save lives.
