“Big Ben” is a piece based on the chimes of Big Ben in London. It has been written by Voces8’s singer Blake Morgan and has been featured as part of the Voces8 Foundation series called #LiveFromHome, a series of interactive videos released during the first lockdown in 2020.

About Eugeny:

When Eugény found out she was pregnant in 2017, she immediately had a yearning for connectivity to a community: a community of women where everyone’s experience and emotion could be shared with each other within the circle. She could not find anything local to Hove and knew she wanted this mixture of healing & community through singing.
As soon as Eugény stumbled across the Singing Mamas website she felt a connection, and after speaking to Kate, who founded and runs Singing Mamas, she knew she wanted to train to be a choir leader – something she completed in June 2019. She has since opened her choir in Hove and has been teaching songs thought “Songline”, the online singing sessions launched by Singing Mamas at the time of the first quarantine.
