Many suspension upgrades require the removal of Toyota's Cross Relative Absorber System (X-REAS). This video shows how to remove (X-REAS) using a 2004 Toyota Sport Edition 4Runner as an example. These instructions could apply to any X-REAS equipped 4th Generation 4Runners. X-REAS came standard on the Sport Edition model and optional on the SR5 and Limited models.
