Bamni Falls Purulia Ayodhya Hills - বামনী জলপ্রপাত - Bamni Falls Purulia Ajodha Pahar (Ayodhya Hill) is a popular hill station in the Purulia district in West Bengal in India. The 400-Stairs Down Bamni Falls. One needs to be really careful while making their way to Bamni. But once the waterfall is visible, nobody will regret being there. The area is not very enormous, but it is modest and elegant. The ebb and flow of the stream are definitely going to lure a nature lover. Ayodhya Pahar is a famous tourist spot and famous picnic spot in Purulia. There are many tourist places around Ayodhya Hill like the Lower dam, Upper dam, Bamni Falls, Mayur Pahar, Marble lake, Charida village, etc. Ajodhya Hills is a beautiful small mountain range in the Purulia district of West Bengal which is also a famous picnic spot for the locals. It is situated about 40 km from Purulia city and the same distance from Balrampur. If you are going from Jamshedpur then you can go via Balrampur, just take a right turn five km before Baghmundi.

How to reach Ajodha Pahar (Ayodhya Hill)?

Reach Purulia rail station. Then take a car from Purulia to Ajodhya Pahar distance is 40 kilometers.

Ajodhya Pahar sightseeing Car Fare

Rs. 1500 for 3 hours covering popular tourist spots namely Purulia Lower Dam and Upper Dam; Mayur Pahar, wooden Durga temple, Ram temple, marble lake, Bamni Falls, Turga Falls. To visit Charida village you have to pay Rs 800 extra.
If you rent a car on a daily basis, the charge is Rs 1500 per day.
