In this video, we'll go over how to simulate a soft body distortion effect in After Effects. This technique can be used to create really nice fluid or liquid type movements. The key to this technique is the CC Smear effect. Made props to Hieu Vu for showing me this technique. Don't forget, you can rig this effect up with other effects and expressions to streamline the whole elastic animation. Give it a try and let me know what you guys think.
