How to service your Mahindra XUV 500 W8 FWD at home

MAHINDRA XUV 5OO Full Service.

1, Collect all the material listed at starting of video.
2, Jack up the car. Note that it should be straight leveled.
3, Remove Stone guard below engine by unscrewing 10mm bolts.
4, Locate drain plug 22mm bolt.
5, Locate container below drain plug.
6, Add Engine flush 200 ml.
7, Run engine ideally for 10 minutes.
8, Do not accelerate or move vehicle.
9, After 10 minutes, let engine cool down for 2-5 minuted.
10, Drain out old engine oil by loosening drain plug.
11, Loosen up Engine oil filter.
12, Open oil refilling cap so mas to drain old oil completely.
13, Let the old oil drain out completely.
14, Clean out place where engine oil filter was installed.
15, Install new engine oil filter with filter wrench.
16, Inspect drain point and close drain plug point.
17, Refill new Engine oil (Maximile FEO 6 lt).
18, Now remove battery so that you can easily access to Air filter.
19, Remove air filter sensor grip.
20, Remove flexible connection of filter.
21, Remove top cover of air filter with 7-8 Allen key bolts.
22, Take out old filter element made of different layers of sponge.
23, Inspect bottom case of air filter for cleaning.
24, Now its time to replace Fuel Filter Cartridge.
25, Unplug fuel filter sensor at bottom.
26, Loosen up fuel filter by inserting filter wrench.
25, Put some reservoir below filter to avoid any spillage of diesel.
26, Install new fuel filter.
27, Loosen 10 mm bolt on side of top assembly of fuel filter.
28, Pump the assembly to remove air from line.
29. Attach sensor at bottom.
30, After installing fuel filter, install new air filter element.
31, Assemble air filter in reverse direction as disassembled.
32, Coonect battery.
33, Clean all the surfaces.
34, Check engine oil level,
35, Check for any leaks.
36, Fix Stone guard at bottom of engine.

Now you are good to go
