Today we are going to prepare Chettinad Prawn gravy. Chettinad Prawn Curry which serves as an excellent side dish for idli, dosa, briyani and all types of variery rice and mainly for curd rice.
This prawn Curry is a paradise for all seafood lovers.
The taste of this prawn gravy is enhanced as we prepare fresh Masala as per chettinad cuisine method .Here we shared prawn recipes in Tamil language.
Prawn Gravy serves as an excellent side dish for Idli, Dosa, chapati & parotta. This spicy Prawn Curry or prawn gravy is made with homemade fresh Masala.
This is Indian style seafood recipe. Here we shared in chettinad method Curry. Try this easy prawn Curry or Prawn Gravy or known as shrimp Curry Recipe.
Since this is done by traditional chetinad cuisine method, it can also be termed as spicy prawn Masala.

Ingredients
Cleaned and washed prawn- 150 gm
For gravy
Dry red chilly - 8 nos
Fennel seeds - 1 1/2 tspn
Pepper - 1 tspn
Garlic - 10 nos
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Curry leaves
For prawn Gravy Prawn Curry
Oil - 1 Tbspn (3tspn)
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tspn
Finely chopped Shallots - 100 g (1/2 cup)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
Salt - As required
Curry leaves
Green chilly - 3
Tomato - 1
Mix welll
Put the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes fir small size prawn (10 minutes for big size)
