Ray Hayden here, replacing my original Ryobi Blower with a new Ryobi 40V 730 CFM Whisper Series Blower.

This blower had a special package deal, and I tend to look for these when shopping. What I mean is that this blower was the best deal that day, and it came with 2 of the 40 Volt batteries and a charger. The price of the batteries alone are pretty high, so I look for a tool and the tool with batteries to see what might be the best overall purchase.

On the day that we went to Home Depot, this was the best purchase for us. They did have another kit which seemed like a slightly more affordable kit / package, but it was out of stock. The version we picked up looks like a decent deal.

My original blower was purchased in early 2018, so we got about five years of solid work out of it, and across that time frame, it probably more than paid for itself, and I was happy with it.

I hope that this blower works at least as long. If so, I am rather certain it will more than pay for itself as well.
