Join us for our second Simpson Desert 4wd Adventure adventure within three weeks. On the return trip, we are starting from Alice Spring and traversing the Simpson Desert Cross Country West to East via Geosurveys Hill and one of the supposed Geographical Centres of the Simpson Desert. In attendance is Dan Wood in his Toyota Landcruiser Troopy, Scott Mason in his Nissan Patrol GU 4.2 and Stefan Fischer in his Toyota Landcruiser 105. This is not your ordinary Simpson Desert Crossing via the Madigan, French, QAA or Rig Road but a far more remote and adventures approach which a lot of the time will see us following faint tyre marks which as quickly disappear as they appear. Quite often we needed to make our tracks through the unforgiving but stunningly beautiful remote Simpson Desert where every mechanical failure would mean to either fix on the spot or to abandon your 4x4.
