"Jutti Kasuri Pairi na Poori" is Punjabi Folk.
This songs describes the struggle of a newly married woman who is new to everything at her Husband’s place and is not yet comfortable in sharing her problems with him. He is kind of a stranger to her owing to the arranged marriage system.

The day becomes miserable when you are wearing those uncomfortable shoes and constantly struggling with that bad shoe bite at the back of your heals and toes, right ?? The struggle is even worse when you have to take a long walk in them cause you dont have any other option. That is exactly what the singer is feeling by wearing that “Jutti Kasuri” which doesn't fit herproperly (“Pairi na Poori”).

Or saying it rather Philosophically, she isnt feeling comfortable and feels that she is in a place where she doesn't belong. She is not in the right shoes.

She says, “Jinha Rahan di mai saar na jaana, Ohni raaheen ve sanu murna peya” meaning that she is walking on an unknown road and she doesn't know where she is heading towards. By this line she is venting out her fear of unclear future with this man she has been married to.

She has to adjust according to her husband. She used to live a luxurious life with her parents but now her husband is making her walk long distances which is what she means by saying “Yaka te baare koi na keeta, mahiya paidal le gaya”

She is highly uncomfortable and her feet are sore (Pairan de vich pae gaye ne chaale) but her husband wont be able to judge that because her face is veiled (kadya kund). Morever, she cant even say anything to him because she is too afraid of him( kuch keh na skti, dill mera ghabrawanda).

That is how almost every married woman in India used to feel in the initial days of her married life, living with a strange man in a strange place and this perfectly describes her emotions.

I can totally imagine ladies of that era singing this song in their verandas or at social gatherings and having a great laugh!
