Family Camping at the Enchantment of Bukit Damar Megamendung Puncak Bogor

Pesona Bukit Damar is one of the camping grounds in the Mega Mendung area, the result of the transformation from Pesona Highland Campground.
Pesona Bukit Damar Camp is specially designed as a comfortable and beautiful camping and recreation area.

Arriving in the sunny morning we will be spoiled with views of Mount Gede Pangrango directly in front of your tent. On the other hand, the view of Mount Salak is ready to challenge you to be grateful.

At night, the cool air makes us feel at home for long in the camp area while enjoying the beautiful lights of vehicles that are twinkling along the Bogor-Puncak highway from a distance, it's really very enchanting.

When we were camping in the afternoon it rained heavily and a lot of lightning flashed, although it was scary, the beauty of this location can still treat the horror of heavy rain when lightning.

In the charm of this damar hill, we cannot burn wood carelessly, only 1-2 location points are provided per site, so first coordinate with the officers.

The officers were on standby to help put up and unload the tent.

This camp ground is divided into 2 blocks, namely Block A and Block B and several other sites beside and below the small hall but with direct view of the valley.

Each block has its own advantages and disadvantages, including:
for Block A the advantage is that it is close to the bathroom and prayer room, but during the day the tent feels hot and stifling because it is not shady (the trees are few), unless you take a location under a tree, but be careful when it rains and lightning. Our experience is lightning grabbing trees around.
For Block B, the advantage is the view of the mountain in the morning and the city light at night is really great and in block B it is more shady and cool because there are more trees, but the position of block B is far from the bathroom and prayer room.

At this camp ground there is also a cafe that operates from morning to 8 pm.
this cafe sells a variety of drinks and food (instant noodles)
