A DELICIOUS DAY IN DIGBY!

Taking advantage of beautiful weather we decided to head to Digby for the day. Just over an hour from Kentville and over two hours from Halifax, it is worth the drive.

I started with breakfast at The Sea Biscuit Cafe & Eatery and discovered bacon dipped in jam is SO GOOD. Then we drove 8 minutes out to Point Prim, which has beautiful views of Digby Gut and would be fantastic for a picnic lunch.

We moved onto Carla's Take Out & Seafood Market for decadent scallops and I tried rapure for the first time! It just opened in June and it is already a fantastic spot for food. Head next door and can buy seafood from Adrian, who is very particular about quality, ensuring they only serve the best.

Then of course I needed to head to Guy's Frenchys, which I think is a MUST when you're in Digby.

And we could not leave without heading to Ed’s Take Out, which was recently renovated inside and has so much more space! I love the family photos as well as Mi'maq information. I have eaten here many times and did not know it was a Black Indigenous business in Nova Scotia.

Although I know there are so many more places to eat we had to head home. But it's such an easy drive I know I'll be back so please let me know what else I should see and do in Digby!

I'm a Canadian travel blogger at home for the summer and autumn. But I'm making the most of my time by traveling Atlantic Canada.

This video is in partnership with Nova Scotia Tourism Association to inspire local travel in the wonderful towns in we often overlook.
