RECIPE: (NEW UPDATED LOWER SUGAR VERSION IN COMMENTS)
Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water (around 110°F/43°C)
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:
In a bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and softened butter.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours or until it doubles in size.
Punch down the risen dough, knead it briefly, and shape it into a loaf.
Place the shaped dough into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Cover it and let it rise again for about 30-45 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
