How to cook CHICKEN PINAKBET | CHICKEN PINAKBET | SPECIAL PINAKBET FILIPINO STYLE | Pinoy Simple Cooking

Sharing another way to cook PINAKBET or PAKBET. PINAK BET is made of mixed vegetables sauteed in shrimp paste or fish sauce to make it more flavorful. The most common vegetables for Pinakbet is squash, long beans, eggplant, okra and bitter melon (ampalaya). This is one of the common dish in the Philippines and has variety of ways to cook. It is so simple and easy to make you will be done in no time. Great for busy weeknights and healthy for kids.


Here is how to make the famous SPECIAL CHICKEN PINAKBET:
SPECIAL CHICKEN PINAKBET:
Ingredients:
1/2 lb boneless chicken, cut into bite sizs
1 large onion chopped
5 cloves garlic chopped
1 large tomatoes chopped
1 small squash, cubed
6 oz green beans, ends trimmed and cut into 2 inches length
6 oz okras, ends trimmed and cut into halves
1 large eggplant - cut into cubes
3 tbsp sweet shrimp paste
1 1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper, divided
