Here's part one of the Swedish 24 Hour Combat Ration sent in by The Magnus (    / joebryer   ). In this video we'll open the ration up for inspection and check out breakfast. One thing with this one was that I noticed an oily-looking film on the components inside the bag. That had to be checked out before the review (which adds a bit of time to the video). Also, I had a couple technical glitches that I dealt with as best as I could. Overall, this ration seems to be very good and I'm looking forward to the lunch and dinner. As a side note which I forgot to mention in the video, my wife LOVED the Tropical Breakfast with Cereal Flakes. She's not into rations for the most part, but I'm not crazy about oatmeal-type foods (and she is). I sort of tricked her into trying this out and she was very impressed with it.
