Video of the process I use to bare-root Eastern Red Cedar trees growing wild in a field. You can use this process to create your own bare-root seedlings and save money over buying them from a nursery. Remember to do this when the trees are dormant. In my experience you will receive the best results in March and April. These trees are great for creating windbreaks and wildlife habitat improvement.
