Eminem just released his new record 'Houdini' where he's dissing Megan Thee Stallion and channeling his original Slim Shady persona.

While this is his best attempt yet at recreating the iconic essence and sound of his early 2000's music from the Slim Shady and Marshal Mathers LP, it's sad that he's spent a lot of the later end of his career constantly chasing the good ole days when he was on top of the rap game. Instead of evolving like rappers like Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nas and Lil Wayne, Eminem seems to be regressing stylistically.

With the biggest rappers of the 2000's all at the (likely) final stages of their careers, it begs the question - what's considered a "graceful" exit in hip-hop? How can the most legendary rappers of all time continue to inspire the new generation, influence the current sound and evolve their style on new albums?

Eminem making a "comeback" or "return to form" with his new song makes me wonder where rappers like Drake, Tyler the Creator, Travis Scott, Future, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar will be when they're at the same stage of their careers that Eminem's currently at.

In this video, we'll touch on where these rappers should take the latter half of their careers, and where hip hop will be in 10 years from now, along with who will carry the torch as the best rappers alive, once the Big 3 (Drake, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole) end their careers.
